Freedom Gluten Free Bakery – Sprouts Farmers Market Westwood

For a couple of days I was complaining about wanting a dessert. Most of the desserts that I desire contain dairy which is better for me not to eat and for the planet it would be better if we all lessen our dairy intake. Arnoud decided to take matters into his own hands and to buy two desserts for me with one being the doughnut mini’s from Freedom Gluten Free Bakery. This was a surprise because I highly dislike doughnuts. I never understood the appeal to a doughnut until I came along the gluten-free doughnuts from freedom gluten-free bakery apple cider flavour! They come in a small batch and reminded me of churros with the smell of apple and cinnamon flavour approaching me upon opening. I was pleasantly surprised with these mini’s! To me they do not taste like regular doughnuts, they feel not heavy on the stomach and after finishing a mini, I wanted another one! I looked them up on their website and found out that these, the Gluten-Free Apple Cider Mini Doughnuts, won a award for their delicious taste plus they’re dairy free!
