Romancing the bean – Burbank

After we did the Warner Bros. Studio tour - which was a very fun trip and I defenitely recommend taking the tour, we needed to grab something to eat. Beforehand, I googled a few options that are located in the area of Burbank. The one that caught my eye was ‘Romancing the bean’ which reminded me of the comedy-adventure movie Romancing the stone which is right up my alley.

It was a six minutes drive from the Warner Bros. lots to Romancing the Bean. I was very hungry. At the studio tour they had one gluten-free meal which was a hotdog and they run out of those. I had to fill myself with some chips, carrots plus celery, that wasn’t enough. I will write a separate blog about the studio tour experience!

When we arrived at Romancing the bean we ordered at the counter and decided to sit outside. I took a gluten-free sandwich which they prepared on a separate toaster. They have lot’s of different sandwich options to chose from! I ordered one with the tomato, mozzarella and pesto but I had to leave out the pesto because of my allium-intolerance. My father who doesn’t have celiac disease, I’m the only one in my family, had a blueberry scone with a cappuccino.

Overall this a great place to visit when you’re in Burbank. Good food & treats, and above all lovely people!
